Venison Stroganoff
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. cubed venison from a roast
- 2 tbls. butter
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 tbls. parsley
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Directions:
- Brown meat in butter
- Add remaining ingredients except sour cream
- Bring to boil, simmer on low for 1 1/2 hours; covered
- Add sour cream
- Stir until sauce thickens
- Serve over egg noodles
