Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. fresh cranberries
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- optional addition: pinch of nutmeg
Directions:
- Wash and drain cranberries
- Dissolve sugar in water and bring to a boil
- Add cranberries and simmer on low without stirring
- When skins burst, remove from heat, stir, and cool
