Banana Pickles Recipe

  1. Pare cucumbers and cut into slices 4 - 6 inches long.
  2. Pack in jars.
  3. Pour hot syrup over and seal
      Syrup:
    • 3 c. vinegar
    • 3 c. sugar
    • 1 c. water
    • 1 Tbsp. salt
    • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
    • 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    • 1 Tbsp. turmeric
  4. Boil syrup for 2 minutes and pour over pickles. (Makes enough for 3 quarts.
  5. Seal
  6. Cook in hot bath until green color is gone.
