Grandma's Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups scalded milk
  • 2 pkgs. dry yeast dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water
  • 3 eggs
  • 6 tbls. oil
  • 4 tbls. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 7 cups flour

Directions:

  • Stir all ingredients together except for yeast mixture
  • Add yeast mixture and mix
  • Add flour and knead for ten minutes until dough is stretchy
  • Dough will be sticky
  • Put in greased bowl
  • Cover and let rise until doubled in volume
  • Pinch off pieces of dough and form into a ball (tucking ends under)
  • Place on greased cookie sheet
  • Let rise until double in volume
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes
