Best Cake I've Ever Had

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp.salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 8 oz can crushed pineapple(undrained)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 cups chopped bananas
  • cream cheese frosting
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

  • Combine first 5 ingredients in large bowl
  • Add eggs and oil; stirring until moistened
  • Do not beat
  • Stir in vanilla, pineapple, 1 cup pecans, and bananas
  • Spoon batter into 3 greased 9 inch round cake pans.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean
  • Cool in pans 10 minutes, then remove; cool completely
  • Spread cream cheese frosting between layers, stack, frost top and sides
  • Sprinkle top and sides with 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Savor the compliments!!!!!
