Best Cake I've Ever Had
Ingredients:
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp.salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 eggs beaten
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 8 oz can crushed pineapple(undrained)
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 2 cups chopped bananas
- cream cheese frosting
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
- Combine first 5 ingredients in large bowl
- Add eggs and oil; stirring until moistened
- Do not beat
- Stir in vanilla, pineapple, 1 cup pecans, and bananas
- Spoon batter into 3 greased 9 inch round cake pans.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean
- Cool in pans 10 minutes, then remove; cool completely
- Spread cream cheese frosting between layers, stack, frost top and sides
- Sprinkle top and sides with 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- Savor the compliments!!!!!
