Chocolate Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts(optional)

Directions:

  1. Cream together: margarine, sugars, vanilla
  2. Blend dry ingredients
  3. Add creamed mixture to dry mixture; blend well
  4. Form into rolls 2 inches in diameter
  5. Chill 1 hour
  6. Slice 1/8 inch thick
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees

Rolled Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients
  2. Cream sugar and margarine until fluffy
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg added
  4. Add dry ingredients and mix well
  5. Add vanilla, mixing until blended
  6. Roll 1/8 inch thick, cut with cookie cutters; re-roll waste and cut
  7. Bake at 375 degrees for 6-10 minutes

Rolled Sugarless Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter; softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar twin
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tsp. butter flavor or use lemon or almond extract

Directions:

  1. Beat butter and sugar twin until fluffy
  2. Add flour and extract, blend well and form stiff dough
  3. Roll between wax paper 1/4-1/2 inch thick
  4. Cut into shapes
  5. Place on ungreased cookie sheet
  6. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes
