Chicken Salad Tips

Once you have deboned your chicken, place it in a bowl and pour the juice of 1 orange and lemon over it. Mix it up, cover it and store it in the fridge overnight. This will greatly enhance the flavor.

For added flavor, boil your chicken with a carrot, celery, a bay leave, and one whole onion pealed

Chicken Tips

Always refrigerate raw chicken promptly. Never leave it on countertop at room temperature.

If you are not going to use uncooked chicken within 2 days, freeze it

Thaw in the refigerator, not on the counter-top. For fast thawing, use your microwave

Always cook until well done, not medium or rare. Juices should run clear when poked with a fork, not pink.
