Chicken and Green Noodle Casserole Recipe

  • 1 (3 lb.) fryer or equivalent chicken
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium chopped green pepper
  • 1 can mushrooms (can use fresh)
  • 12 oz. American cheese
  • 5 oz. green noodles
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 (3 oz.) bottle stuffed olives, chopped
  1. Cook chicken and chop.
  2. Cook noodles in chicken stock.
  3. Cook celery, onion and pepper in margarine.
  4. Add cheese to that warm mixture.
  5. Combine everything.
  6. Bake at 325 degrees until heated thoroughly.

Note: May be prepared ahead and frozen.
