Cocktail Meat Balls Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. bread crumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can Campbell's tomato soup
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
Directions:
- Mix beef, bread crumbs, eggs and salt.
- Shape into 50 small meat balls (1/2 inch).
- Place in shallow baking pan (13 x 9 x 2 inches)
- Broil until brown; turn once
- Spoon off fat.
- In saucepan, cook onion and green pepper in butter until tender.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Pour over meat balls for appetizers.
