Bleu Cheese Facts

Bleu cheese is made from either cow's or goat's milk and has blue or blue-green mold. Roquefort cheese is a bleu cheese that's made in the south or France. There are other bleu cheeses such as Stilton (which comes from England), Gorgonzola (which comes from Italy), and Danablu (which comes from Denmark).

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz. Bleu cheese crumbled
  • 16oz. Sour cream
  • 3 tbls. Hellmann's mayonnaise
  • dash of red wine vinegar
  • 1/8 tsp. ground pepper

Directions:

  • Blend all ingredients
  • Refrigerate at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend
  • Serve with chips or use as a salad dressing
