- 2 loaves of bread
- 5 stalks of celery - diced
- 2 large onions - diced
- 1 lb. ground sausage
- 2 tbl. poultry seasoning
Optional addition: diced apple
- Break bread in small pieces into large roasting pan.
- In skillet, brown sausage meat, drain and pour over bread.
- Saut?celery & onions together until soft, place over bread &
sausage.
- Add poultry seasoning. More or less may be used according to taste.
- Add diced apples if desired.
- Mix all ingredients until well blended.
- Add a little water if necessary. (Stuffing should be semi-moist.)
- Stuff turkey or cook in a covered baking dish or casserole dish for 45
min. in a 350 degree oven.
