Stuffing Recipe

  • 2 loaves of bread
  • 5 stalks of celery - diced
  • 2 large onions - diced
  • 1 lb. ground sausage
  • 2 tbl. poultry seasoning

Optional addition: diced apple

  1. Break bread in small pieces into large roasting pan.
  2. In skillet, brown sausage meat, drain and pour over bread.
  3. Saut?celery & onions together until soft, place over bread & sausage.
  4. Add poultry seasoning.  More or less may be used according to taste.
  5. Add diced apples if desired.
  6. Mix all ingredients until well blended.
  7. Add a little water if necessary. (Stuffing should be semi-moist.)
  8. Stuff turkey or cook in a covered baking dish or casserole dish for 45 min. in a 350 degree oven.
